Rat Protein S100-B (S100b) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Protein S100-B (S100b) in rat samples. The assay recognises natural and recombinant rat Protein S100-B and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 7.82 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.3% and an inter-assay CV of 8.1%. Recovery is 94% (range 88-100%) in serum and 96% (range 90-102%) in plasma. Linearity for serum at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions spans 104-116%, 111-119%, 105-117% and 104-113% respectively; EDTA plasma spans 84-94%, 86-98%, 91-101% and 101-111%; heparin plasma spans 95-107%, 102-112%, 90-98% and 99-108%.
