Rat Protein Phosphatase ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit from Assay Genie, designed for the quantitative detection of protein phosphatase levels in rat samples using a colorimetric readout. The assay is suited to research into cellular signaling, cell cycle progression, and gene expression, reflecting the role of protein phosphatases in dephosphorylating proteins and counterbalancing protein kinase activity.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 9.375 pg/mL with a detection range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Linearity for serum (n = 5) is 86–103% at 1:2, 91–101% at 1:4, and 92–103% at 1:8; for EDTA plasma (n = 5), 98–104%, 85–103%, and 86–103% at the same dilutions; and for heparin plasma (n = 5), 84–100%, 83–99%, and 85–101%. Average recovery is 96% for serum (range 92–104%), 97% for EDTA plasma (range 92–100%), and 95% for heparin plasma (range 90–105%). The procedure involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
