Rat Protein NDRG1 (Ndrg1) ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of NDRG1 (N-Myc downstream regulated gene 1) levels in rat serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. The kit provides a detection range of 0.625-40 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.298 ng/mL, an Intra-assay CV of 4.2%, and an Inter-assay CV of 9.2%.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, with reported linearity for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma dilutions. Average recovery is 102% (range 96-108%) for serum and 104% (range 98-110%) for plasma. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant rat Protein NDRG1 (UniProt Q6JE36).

NDRG1 is a stress-responsive protein involved in hormone responses, cell growth, and differentiation. It acts as a tumor suppressor in many cell types, contributes to vesicular recycling of CDH1, supports peripheral nerve myelin sheath maintenance, and functions in the p53/TP53-dependent mitotic spindle checkpoint.
