Rat Protein Kinase C/PKC ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Protein Kinase C (PKC) in rat samples. The double-antibody sandwich format uses colorimetric detection and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 9.375 pg/mL with an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL.

Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months. In dilution linearity across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5), recoveries ranged from 80% to 105%. Spike-and-recovery averages were 94% in serum, 99% in EDTA plasma and 98% in heparin plasma. PKC is described as a key enzyme in cellular signal transduction, with dysregulation linked to cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disorders, making the kit suitable for studies of disease pathogenesis and therapeutic target research.
