Rat Protein Kinase C Epsilon/PKCe ELISA Kit

Designed for the accurate quantification of Protein Kinase C Epsilon (PKCε) in rat samples, this sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. PKCε is a key kinase involved in cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis, and its dysregulation has been linked to several diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and developing targeted therapies.

Linearity has been demonstrated across serum (88–105% at 1:2), EDTA plasma (86–97% at 1:2), and heparin plasma (80–97% at 1:2), while average recovery rates are 92% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma, and 96% for heparin plasma. Reagents are stable at 2–8°C for 12 months. The procedure involves a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, and TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, with absorbance read at 450 nm.
