Rat Protein Kinase C Epsilon (PKCe) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Rat Protein Kinase C Epsilon (PKCe) ELISA Kit enables quantitative detection of the epsilon isoform, a phospholipid-dependent serine/threonine kinase central to cardiac preconditioning, neuronal receptor desensitization, and tumor proliferation pathways. The assay is applied in studies of alcohol-responsive signaling, ischemic protection, and metabolic regulation where PKCe expression in rat tissues, cell lysates, and culture supernatants is correlated with downstream phosphorylation events.

Each well receives a 100 uL sample volume loaded against the rat-specific capture antibody, and the kit is configured as a complete immunoassay in a microplate format with pre-coated capture wells, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, and a recombinant PKCe calibrator for building a standard curve across serial dilutions. Reconstituted standard vials should be aliquoted and stored frozen, while remaining components remain stable when refrigerated and protected from light through the stated shelf life.
