Rat Protein Kinase C alpha ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of protein kinase C alpha in rat samples, supporting research into this enzyme's role in cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. Detection is colorimetric, using a double-antibody sandwich format with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

Linearity across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions falls within 80–105%, with average recovery across the same sample types ranging from 95% to 98%. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, with select components also suitable for –20°C storage.

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and the TMB substrate, loading standards and samples for a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, followed by biotinylated detection antibody binding (60 minutes), HRP-streptavidin binding (30 minutes), and color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes before stopping and reading.
