Rat Protein Kinase B/PKB/AKT ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Rat Protein Kinase B/PKB/AKT ELISA Kit is a sandwich-format, double-antibody immunoassay designed for the quantitative measurement of Akt in rat samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Colorimetric readout is achieved by measuring absorbance at 450 nm after TMB substrate development, and the kit is intended for research applications in cellular signaling, cell death, and protein kinase activity studies.

Linearity was evaluated in serum (82–101% at 1:2, 87–96% at 1:4, 85–94% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (83–94%, 98–104%, 91–104%) and heparin plasma (89–102%, 85–105%, 85–100%). Spike-and-recovery testing returned averages of 96% in serum, 100% in EDTA plasma and 96% in heparin plasma. The kit is stored at 2–8°C and remains stable for 12 months under those conditions.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer and a plate sealer.
