Rat Prohibitin/PHB1 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie configured for rat samples, using a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. The kit quantifies prohibitin (PHB1; synonyms PHB, prohibitin), a protein involved in cell proliferation, apoptosis, and mitochondrial function, and implicated in cancer, aging, and metabolic disorders. It is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a standard range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. The procedure includes equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
