Rat Progesterone Receptor ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of progesterone receptor in rat samples, using a double antibody method. The assay is intended for research use only and is validated for serum, plasma, and cell lysate samples, with recommended storage at 4°C for 6 months.

Sensitivity is quoted at 0.188 ng/mL with a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Precision is reported as intra-assay CV <8% and inter-assay CV <10%. Recovery in spiked samples averages 94% in serum (range 91–98%), 99% in EDTA plasma (range 93–105%), and 98% in UFH plasma (range 92–105%). Linearity across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) is demonstrated within the 82–105% range, depending on the matrix.

Progesterone receptor (gene symbol Pgr; UniProt Q63449) is a nuclear hormone receptor and transcription factor that regulates gene expression and influences cellular proliferation and differentiation. Two splice-variant isoforms have been described for this target in rat.
