Rat PROC (Protein C) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie uses a colorimetric, double-antibody format and is designed for the precise measurement of protein C levels in rat-derived samples. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay delivers a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL, with kit components intended for storage at 2–8 °C for 12 months. Reported validation data include recovery in serum (89–101%, average 95%), EDTA plasma (86–100%, average 92%) and heparin plasma (90–104%, average 98%), together with linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions of serum (86–102% / 88–104% / 85–96%), EDTA plasma (87–96% / 82–92% / 83–96%) and heparin plasma (83–95% / 84–96% / 83–100%).

The procedure is a sandwich immunoassay: equilibrate reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, then load standards, samples and controls onto the pre-coated plate and incubate at 37 °C for 90 minutes; add biotin-labelled detection antibody and incubate at 37 °C for 60 minutes; add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and incubate at 37 °C for 30 minutes; develop with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes; then add stop solution and read absorbance at 450 nm immediately.
