Rat Pro-neuregulin-1, membrane-bound isoform (Nrg1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of rat Pro-neuregulin-1, membrane-bound isoform (Nrg1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Nrg1 is a direct ligand for ERBB3 and ERBB4 tyrosine kinase receptors and is involved in neuronal development, synapse formation and cardiac function, with dysregulation linked in the literature to conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and cancer.

The assay has a reported detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.39ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 5.3% and an inter-assay CV of 9.6%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, and recovery averages 104% (98-110%) in serum and 106% (100-112%) in plasma.

The assay recognises natural and recombinant rat Pro-neuregulin-1, membrane-bound isoform and is supplied in a solid-phase format. Kit components should be stored at -20°C and are shipped at +4°C. The product is intended for research use only.
