PRO-ANP is the 126-amino acid precursor of atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP), a cardiac hormone central to natriuresis, blood pressure regulation, and vascular homeostasis in rodent models. Circulating pro-ANP concentrations serve as a biomarker in studies of heart failure, hypertension, volume overload, and cardiorenal syndrome.

This Assay Genie immunoassay uses a microplate pre-coated with anti-PRO-ANP capture antibody and reports quantitative results through a colorimetric enzymatic reaction.
