Rat PRDX5/Peroxiredoxin-5 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of peroxiredoxin-5 (PRDX5) in rat samples. The colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a reported sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Reported recovery ranges from 87–100% in serum, 92–103% in EDTA plasma, and 85–104% in heparin plasma.

Peroxiredoxin-5 is an antioxidant enzyme that helps protect cells from oxidative stress and maintain cellular homeostasis, and is studied in diseases linked to oxidative damage such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cardiovascular diseases.
