Rat PPIB/Cyclophilin B ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit uses a double-antibody method for the accurate and precise measurement of PPIB (Cyclophilin B) in rat samples. It is configured for use with rat serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants, and is also compatible with cell or tissue lysates and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric.

Cyclophilin B is a critical protein involved in protein folding and trafficking, and its dysregulation has been implicated in disease states including cancer, inflammatory disorders, and viral infections. The assay delivers a sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL across a measurable range of 3.125-200 ng/mL, with the target associated with UniProt entry P24368. Reported linearity spans 93-100% (1:2), 87-103% (1:4) and 87-103% (1:8) for serum, 85-101%, 82-100% and 84-100% for EDTA plasma, and 82-91%, 82-93% and 91-99% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery averages 91% for serum (range 86-100%), 92% for EDTA plasma (range 85-101%) and 96% for heparin plasma (range 89-105%).

Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The procedure uses a TMB substrate developed in the dark for 10–20 minutes after HRP-Streptavidin binding, and absorbance is read at 450 nm following a stop step.
