Rat POU domain, class 3, transcription factor 3 (Pou3f3) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of POU domain, class 3, transcription factor 3 (Pou3f3) in rat samples. The assay detects natural and recombinant rat Pou3f3, also known by the synonyms Brain-specific homeobox/POU domain protein 1, Brain-1, Brn-1, Brn1, and Rhs2. The kit offers a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.158ng/mL, and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

Pou3f3 is a nuclear transcription factor of the POU transcription factor family, class-3 subfamily, with a reported molecular weight of 50,226 Da (UniProt Q63262). It acts synergistically with SOX11 and SOX4 and plays a role in neuronal development. The protein is implicated in enhancer activity at the embryonic met-mesencephalic junction, where the enhancer element contains the octamer motif (5'-ATTTGCAT-3'). For research use only.
