Rat Podocin (Nphs2) ELISA Kit

Podocin, encoded by the Nphs2 gene, is a single-pass membrane protein (UniProt Q8K4G9) that plays a role in the regulation of glomerular permeability, acting probably as a linker between the plasma membrane and the cytoskeleton. The kit detects natural and recombinant rat podocin with a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 36pg/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.
