Rat Phospholipase A2, Group IIA (PLA2G2A) ELISA Kit

Phospholipase A2 Group IIA (PLA2G2A) is a secreted lipolytic enzyme that liberates arachidonic acid from membrane phospholipids and drives downstream eicosanoid and inflammatory cascades. Measuring circulating and tissue concentrations of this protein underpins investigations into acute-phase responses, cardiovascular injury models, sepsis biomarkers, mucosal defense, and oncological contexts in which PLA2G2A expression has been explored.

This colorimetric ELISA from Assay Genie is calibrated specifically for the rat isoform. The kit supplies 96 determinations per plate along with the pre-coated plate, biotinylated detection reagent, recombinant standards, and the buffers required to build a standard curve in vitro for research use only. Reconstituted components should be refrigerated and shielded from light, and unused strips returned to sealed storage with desiccant to preserve activity across the stated shelf life.
