The assay follows a Sandwich-CLIA principle: the microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat PGF, samples and standards are added to the wells, and a biotinylated detection antibody followed by an Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is introduced sequentially.
