Rat Pentraxin 3, Long (PTX3) ELISA Kit

Quantitative measurement of rat pentraxin 3 (PTX3) in preclinical research samples is supported by this colorimetric immunoassay from Assay Genie, supplied as a complete kit of 96 assays. A 100 µL sample volume is loaded per well for both the standard curve and unknown specimens.

The kit is validated for rat-specific reactivity and accommodates a panel of preclinical sample matrices including serum, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma, and tissue homogenates, with documented spike-and-recovery performance of 80-102% in serum, 81-100% in EDTA plasma, and 80-89% in heparin plasma. Intra-assay precision is reported at CV <10% and inter-assay precision at CV <12%. PTX3, also known by synonyms TNFAIP5 and TSG-14, is a long pentraxin induced by IL-1β and TNF-α and is widely studied in cardiovascular, sepsis, autoimmune, and tumor microenvironment rat models.
