Rat PECAM1 ELISA and CLIA kits of this class typically report a working assay range of roughly 0.78-50 ng/mL, intra-assay precision CV% below 10%, inter-assay CV% below 15%, and spike recovery between 85% and 115% in rat serum. Chemiluminescent readout on a luminometer extends the lower limit of quantitation into the low picogram range, useful when circulating soluble CD31 is expected to be scarce, such as in early-stage vascular injury or in small-volume samples from individual rats.
