Rat PDHA2 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of PDHA2 in rat-derived samples, this sandwich-format ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody configuration with colorimetric detection via TMB substrate, read at 450 nm.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay has a stated sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a measuring range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL, with kit components stable at 2–8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity in serum (n=5) ranged from 87–103% at 1:2, 85–105% at 1:4, and 92–105% at 1:8 dilution; EDTA plasma (n=5) showed 82–98%, 85–99%, and 82–100% at the same dilutions; heparin plasma (n=5) showed 82–98%, 82–98%, and 85–96%. Recovery averaged 96% in serum (range 90–102%), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 89–100%), and 91% in heparin plasma (range 86–103%).

PDHA2 is a key enzyme involved in the regulation of the mitochondrial pyruvate dehydrogenase complex, which plays a crucial role in cellular energy metabolism.
