Rat PDGFA Associated Protein 1/PDAP1 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative detection of PDAP1 in rat samples, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format with a colorimetric readout. The assay has a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a working range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. PDAP1 is described as a protein involved in cellular processes including growth, differentiation and survival, interacting with PDGFa and implicated in tissue development and homeostasis.

The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates and other liquid samples, and should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5) at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 spans 82–102%. Recovery averages 94% for serum and EDTA plasma and 95% for heparin plasma, with individual ranges of 85–103%, 85–104% and 88–104%, respectively.

The workflow includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labeled detection antibody step, and a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin binding step, followed by TMB development in the dark for 10–20 minutes and absorbance reading at 450 nm. Components include a pre-coated dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealers and a technical manual.
