Rat PDGF Receptor beta/PDGFR ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of PDGF receptor beta levels in rat samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double antibody format with colorimetric detection (TMB substrate, read at 450 nm) and is intended for research applications in cell biology, where PDGF receptor beta signalling is implicated in cell growth, differentiation, cancer, fibrosis, and cardiovascular disorders.

The kit delivers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL with a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity has been validated in serum (n = 5), EDTA plasma (n = 5), and heparin plasma (n = 5) at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, with recovery averages of 93% (serum), 89% (EDTA plasma), and 85% (heparin plasma). All reagents are stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for 12 months.

The assay follows a six-step workflow: reagent and plate equilibration; primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes; biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes at 37°C; HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes at 37°C; TMB colour development for 10–20 minutes in the dark; and a stop reaction followed by immediate absorbance reading at 450 nm.
