The Assay Genie rat PDGF-D CLIA kit uses a chemiluminescent sandwich immunoassay format on a 96-well microplate, delivering a wider dynamic range and lower detection limits than conventional colorimetric ELISA. PDGF-D is a secreted ligand of the PDGF receptor-β that drives mesenchymal cell proliferation, angiogenesis, and tissue remodeling, and is quantified in serum, plasma, and tissue culture supernatants to support cardiovascular, fibrosis, oncology, and wound-healing research. The protocol typically requires 50 µl of sample per well, runs in roughly 3-4 hours, and is read on a luminometer.
