Rat PDGF AA/PDGF-A ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for research use, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables precise measurement of PDGF-AA (also known as PDGFA and PDGF-A) in rat samples. The double-antibody assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, supporting studies of this growth factor's role in cell proliferation, migration, angiogenesis, tissue repair, development, and cancer progression.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8; n = 5) gave 86–96%, 82–91%, and 85–98% for serum; 92–102%, 84–101%, and 80–100% for EDTA plasma; and 99–104%, 86–92%, and 82–95% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery testing returned 85–103% (average 95%) for serum, 91–104% (average 97%) for EDTA plasma, and 97–104% (average 99%) for heparin plasma. Unopened kits are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, incubating standards and samples at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding biotin-labelled detection antibody for 60 minutes, binding HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, developing with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after stop solution is added.
