Rat PDE5A/cGMP-specific 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, this kit is designed for the quantitative detection of cGMP-specific 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase (PDE5A) in rat samples. It uses a colorimetric detection method in a double-antibody sandwich format and is intended for research investigating the role of PDE5A in regulating cGMP levels, smooth muscle relaxation and vasodilation, as well as conditions such as erectile dysfunction, pulmonary hypertension and cardiovascular disease.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) was demonstrated in serum (90-102%, 87-99%, 81-97%), EDTA plasma (91-96%, 83-91%, 82-98%) and heparin plasma (90-92%, 85-101%, 80-91%). Recovery averaged 92% in serum (range 85-101%), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 89-104%) and 96% in heparin plasma (range 86-105%). Kit reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
