Rat PCX (Podocalyxin) ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise quantification of podocalyxin (PCX) in rat samples, this colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format. It measures podocalyxin in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, supporting research into cell adhesion, signaling, migration, kidney development, inflammation, and tumor progression.

The assay delivers a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL across a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Linearity has been validated for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n = 5 each), with average spike-and-recovery of 94% in serum (range 89–105%), 93% in EDTA plasma (range 85–103%) and 93% in heparin plasma (range 88–96%).

Detection relies on a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Stored at 2–8°C, kit components remain stable for 12 months.
