Rat Parathyroid Hormone Related Protein/PTHRP ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Parathyroid Hormone-Related Protein (PTHrP) in rat samples. With a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL, the kit supports research on calcium metabolism, bone development and cell growth regulation, and on disorders linked to PTHrP dysregulation such as hypercalcemia, osteoporosis and certain cancers.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Spiked recovery in serum (n=5) ranges from 88-100% with a 95% average; EDTA plasma (n=5) 87-100%, average 95%; and heparin plasma (n=5) 90-102%, average 95%. Components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months and the colorimetric reaction is read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development.
