Rat Pancreatic Lipase/PNLIP ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit developed for the quantitative measurement of Rat Pancreatic Lipase (PNLIP). The assay is reactive with rat samples and is intended for research in the area of metabolism, supporting work on pancreatic lipase, a key enzyme involved in the digestion and absorption of fats.

The kit accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It reports a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a working range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Reported linearity (n = 5) is 88-96% (1:2), 88-101% (1:4) and 81-91% (1:8) for serum; 92-102%, 82-95% and 80-99% for EDTA plasma; and 87-100%, 83-98% and 85-95% for heparin plasma. Reported recovery averages are 96% for serum (range 88-105%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 86-101%) and 95% for heparin plasma (range 86-102%). Components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months (with light-protected storage for the biotin-labeled antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate).

The protocol proceeds through reagent equilibration, a 90 minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes at 37°C, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes at 37°C, TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
