Rat OVA sIgE ELISA Kit

A high-quality indirect ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the accurate and sensitive detection of ovalbumin-specific IgE (OVA sIgE) levels in rat serum, plasma and other biological samples. Ovalbumin is a common allergen that triggers immune responses, making it a valuable biomarker for studying allergic reactions. The kit supports research into allergic diseases and immune responses in rat models.

The assay uses HRP-based detection with a sensitivity of 0.469ng/ml and a measuring range of 0.781-50ng/ml. Intra-assay CV is reported at <8% and inter-assay CV at <10%. Spike-and-recovery testing gave average recoveries of 93% in serum (range 86-100%, n=5), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 87-103%, n=5) and 96% in UFH plasma (range 85-105%, n=5). Linearity assessed by serial dilution ranged from 80% to 105% across the same three matrices.
