Rat OPN/Osteopontin ELISA Kit

Designed for research use, this Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of osteopontin (OPN) in rat samples. Osteopontin is a key protein involved in bone metabolism and inflammation, with roles in cell adhesion, migration, and immune response regulation. It is implicated in conditions such as osteoporosis, cancer, and autoimmune disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these processes and developing potential therapeutic interventions.

The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a sensitivity of 23.438 pg/mL and an assay range of 39.063-2500 pg/mL. Detection is colorimetric, and the kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Performance has been validated across sample matrices. Linearity for serum (n=5) spans 86-102% at 1:2, 86-100% at 1:4, and 82-97% at 1:8 dilutions; EDTA plasma (n=5) shows 85-103%, 82-100%, and 80-93%; heparin plasma (n=5) shows 88-99%, 88-100%, and 80-100%. Recovery ranges are 87-103% for serum (average 96%), 85-101% for EDTA plasma (average 94%), and 88-100% for heparin plasma (average 93%).
