Rat NT-proBNP (N-Terminal Pro-Brain Natriuretic Peptide) CLIA Kit (RTES00412)

A sandwich chemiluminescence immunoassay from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of rat N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP). The CLIA-based kit is validated for use in cancer, cardiovascular, and neuroscience research, where NT-proBNP is a recognised biomarker associated with cardiac dysfunction and heart failure.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 7.5 pg/mL and a detection range of 12.5-800 pg/mL, with a stated recovery of 80%-120%. The assay is completed in 3 h 30 min. The kit recognises rat NT-proBNP in samples, and no significant cross-reactivity or interference between rat NT-proBNP and analogues was observed.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma and other biological fluids, with a required sample volume of 100 μL. Components are stored at 2-8°C/-20°C.
