Rat Non Metastatic Cells 1, Protein NM23A Expressed In (NME1) ELISA Kit

NME1, also called NM23A or nucleoside diphosphate kinase A, is a conserved hexameric enzyme widely studied in cancer biology as one of the earliest identified metastasis suppressor proteins. This Assay Genie rat NME1 ELISA kit is used to quantify endogenous NME1 concentrations in samples collected from rat research models, supporting investigations of tumor progression, nucleotide metabolism, and cellular differentiation.

The assay is supplied as a complete kit with pre-coated microplate strips, lyophilized recombinant standards, capture and detection antibodies, enzyme conjugate, substrate solution, and wash buffer, sufficient for 96 assays per plate. It is configured for in vitro research use only and is not intended for clinical diagnostic procedures.

NME1 expression is frequently monitored in hepatocellular carcinoma, breast carcinoma, and melanoma xenograft studies in rats, where reduced NME1 protein levels have been correlated with increased metastatic potential in published rat model systems.
