Rat Neuritin ELISA Kit

For research applications measuring neuritin in rat samples, Assay Genie provides a colorimetric sandwich ELISA using a double-antibody format. The kit is reactive with rat and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 18.75 pg/mL with a measurable range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL, and components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Neuritin (synonym: Nrn1; UniProt O08957) is a protein linked to neuronal development and synaptic plasticity, and its dysregulation is associated with various neurological disorders, making it a useful biomarker for related research.

Reported linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions spans 90-96%, 92-105%, and 85-100% in serum; 88-94%, 85-98%, and 82-97% in EDTA plasma; and 82-93%, 83-98%, and 80-98% in heparin plasma. Average recovery values are 96% (serum), 92% (EDTA plasma), and 95% (heparin plasma). The procedure involves equilibrating reagents, loading standards and samples for a 90-minute incubation at 37°C, adding biotinylated detection antibody for 60 minutes, then HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes, developing with TMB substrate in the dark for 10-20 minutes, stopping the reaction, and reading absorbance at 450 nm.
