Rat Neprilysin (NEP) ELISA Kit

Neprilysin is a zinc metalloendopeptidase that hydrolyses vasoactive peptides including natriuretic peptides, bradykinin, substance P, and adrenomedullin, making it a focal target in cardiovascular, renal, and neuroscience research. The Assay Genie Rat Neprilysin (NEP) ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of NEP in rat specimens, supporting studies of heart failure pharmacology, blood pressure regulation, and amyloid-β clearance pathways relevant to neurodegeneration.

The colorimetric assay uses a microplate format and is compatible with serum specimens, plasma specimens, and tissue homogenate preparations from preclinical rat models, allowing researchers to compare systemic and tissue-level expression.
