Rat Neprilysin/CD10 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie, designed to quantitatively measure neprilysin (CD10) in rat samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Neprilysin, also known as CD10, is an enzyme involved in the degradation of peptide hormones such as amyloid beta, and plays a role in regulating blood pressure and immune response. Dysregulation of neprilysin has been implicated in Alzheimer's disease, cardiovascular disorders, and cancer, making it a valuable biomarker for research into these conditions.

The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric detection. It offers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a standard range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions falls between approximately 82% and 103% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples. Average recovery values are 94% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma, and 90% for heparin plasma. Components should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
