Rat NCOR2/Nuclear Receptor Corepressor ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA in double-antibody format from Assay Genie, designed to measure NCOR2 (Nuclear Receptor Corepressor) in rat samples. NCOR2 functions in gene regulation and transcriptional repression, with dysregulation linked in the manufacturer description to metabolic disorders and cancer. Accepted sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The detection method is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development.

Reported sensitivity is 23.438 pg/mL and the assay range is 39.063–2500 pg/mL. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions: Serum (n=5) 88–102%, 87–104%, 87–102%; EDTA Plasma (n=5) 90–105%, 87–97%, 88–101%; Heparin Plasma (n=5) 82–100%, 80–99%, 81–99%. Spike-and-recovery averages: Serum (n=5) 92% (range 86–102%), EDTA Plasma (n=5) 94% (range 86–103%), Heparin Plasma (n=5) 95% (range 91–103%).

The assay follows a sample protocol: equilibrate reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature; load standards, samples and blanks on the pre-coated plate and incubate at 37°C for 90 minutes; add biotin-labelled detection antibody and incubate at 37°C for 60 minutes; add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and incubate at 37°C for 30 minutes; add TMB substrate and incubate in the dark for 10–20 minutes; add stop solution and read absorbance at 450 nm.
