Rat Natural resistance-associated macrophage protein 2 (Slc11a2) ELISA Kit

A solid-phase sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of rat Natural resistance-associated macrophage protein 2 (Slc11a2), also known as NRAMP 2, DMT-1, Divalent cation transporter 1, Divalent metal transporter 1, Solute carrier family 11 member 2, Dct1, Dmt1, or Nramp2. The assay is reactive with rat samples and is intended for research use only.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant rat Slc11a2. Reported performance specifications include a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL, a sensitivity of 7.9pg/mL, an Intra CV of 5.2% and an Inter CV of 8.7%. Linearity was assessed across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (N=5); serum gave 99-108%, 106-118%, 80-89% and 92-101%; EDTA plasma gave 106-115%, 108-117%, 90-100% and 99-110%; heparin plasma gave 93-103%, 94-103%, 105-115% and 97-106%. Recovery averages 104% (98-110%) in serum and 106% (100-112%) in plasma. The target protein is implicated in metal transport, particularly iron, and may also transport zinc, manganese, cobalt, cadmium, copper, nickel and lead.
