Rat Natriuretic peptides A (Nppa) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of rat Natriuretic Peptide A (NPPA), also referred to as ANP, ANF, and Prepronatriodilatin. It is reactive with rat samples and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

The kit delivers a detection range of 31.2-2000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 15.65 pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 9.2%. Recovery averages 98% (range 92-104%) in serum and 100% (range 94-106%) in plasma. Specificity is stated for natural and recombinant rat Natriuretic Peptide A. The target protein (UniProt P01161) is a secreted hormone playing a key role in cardiovascular homeostasis through regulation of natriuresis, diuresis, and vasodilation; it specifically binds and stimulates cGMP production of the NPR1 receptor and also binds the clearance receptor NPR3.
