Rat NAGase/N-Acetyl Beta-D-Glucosaminidase ELISA Kit

Designed for quantifying N-Acetyl Beta-D-Glucosaminidase (NAG) in rat samples, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double antibody format with colorimetric detection. NAG is an enzyme involved in glycoprotein metabolism, inflammation, and kidney function, with elevated levels linked to renal diseases and diabetes, making it a valuable biomarker for related research applications.

The kit is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It provides a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and an assay range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Linearity at 1:2 dilution spans 85–100% for serum, 87–102% for EDTA plasma, and 86–102% for heparin plasma, with recovery averages of 92%, 97%, and 94% respectively. The protocol includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, and TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
