Rat NADH Dehydrogenase, Quinone 1 (NQO1) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie NQO1 ELISA Kit is a research-use-only immunoassay for quantifying rat NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase 1, a cytosolic flavoprotein that catalyzes the two-electron reduction of quinones to hydroquinones. The enzyme plays a central role in xenobiotic detoxification and cellular protection against oxidative stress, and its expression is regulated through the Nrf2-Keap1 antioxidant response element pathway.

Applied to rat tissue homogenates and cell lysates, the kit supports studies in toxicology, redox biology, and chemotherapeutic response. NQO1 is of particular interest in cancer research because it bioactivates quinone-based prodrugs and influences tumor cell susceptibility to oxidative damage.

Each kit provides reagents sufficient for 96 individual determinations in a microplate format and uses a colorimetric readout measured by standard absorbance readers. Components are supplied ready for use and should be stored refrigerated between uses to preserve activity.
