Rat NADH Dehydrogenase 1/ND1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA, double antibody assay from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of NADH Dehydrogenase 1 (ND1) in rat samples. ND1 is a core subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I) that functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain, with dysregulation linked to metabolic disorders and disease. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates.

Manufacturer specifications indicate a sensitivity of 0.094 nmol/ml and a range of 0.156-10 nmol/ml. Recommended storage is 4°C for 6 months. The kit is for research use only.

Spike-and-recovery results: serum (n=5) 87-104% range, 95% average; EDTA plasma (n=5) 86-96% range, 90% average; UFH plasma (n=5) 88-103% range, 93% average. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions: serum 87-105%, 85-98%, 85-98%; EDTA plasma 82-90%, 82-101%, 85-98%; UFH plasma 85-99%, 80-88%, 80-98%. Intra-assay CV <8% and inter-assay CV <10%.
