Rat N-Methyl-D-Aspartate Receptor 2/NR2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of N-Methyl-D-Aspartate Receptor 2 (NR2) in rat samples. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, providing a sensitive tool for neuroscience research into the NMDA receptor complex and excitatory neurotransmission.

Using a double antibody sandwich format with colorimetric TMB detection read at 450 nm, the assay has a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported recovery averages are 94% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma, and 93% for heparin plasma. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions has been established for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples.
