Rat N-Cadherin ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for quantitative measurement of N-cadherin in rat samples. It uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples.

Average recovery is 95% for serum, 93% for EDTA plasma, and 93% for heparin plasma. Linearity is reported as 92–105% (serum, 1:2), 87–99% (EDTA plasma, 1:2), and 91–104% (heparin plasma, 1:2), with comparable results at 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions. The protocol involves a 90-minute primary incubation at 37 °C, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin binding step, TMB color development in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm.

Components supplied include a pre-coated dismountable microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled detection antibody concentrate, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual. The kit should be stored at 2–8 °C for up to 12 months.
