Rat Myosin-7 (Myh7) ELISA Kit

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/ml, a sensitivity of 0.182ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.8%, and an inter-assay CV of 7.9%. Linearity across serial dilutions (1:2 to 1:16) is given as 99-108% to 93-104% for serum (N=5), 95-105% to 102-112% for EDTA plasma (N=5), and 82-93% to 102-115% for heparin plasma (N=5). Recovery averages 92% for serum (range 86-98%) and 94% for plasma (range 88-100%).

MYH7 is an actin-based motor molecule with ATPase activity that is essential for muscle contraction, forming regular bipolar thick filaments which, together with actin thin filaments, constitute the fundamental contractile unit of skeletal and cardiac muscle. The protein localises to the cytoplasm and to thick filaments of the myofibrils, and the kit is indicated for research use only in the signal transduction research area.
