Rat Multiple coagulation factor deficiency protein 2 homolog (Mcfd2) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Multiple coagulation factor deficiency protein 2 homolog (Mcfd2) in rat samples. The kit recognises both natural and recombinant rat MCFD2 and is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, using a colorimetric detection method.

Reported performance figures include a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL, a sensitivity of 14.7pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.2% and an inter-assay CV of 5.6%. Recovery is reported as an average of 108% (range 102-114%) in serum and an average of 110% (range 104-116%) in plasma. MCFD2 interacts with LMAN1 in a calcium-dependent manner to form a cargo receptor for ER-to-Golgi transport of selected proteins and plays a role in the secretion of coagulation factors.
