Rat Motilin (MTL) ELISA Kit

Motilin (MTL) is a 22-amino acid peptide hormone secreted by enterochromaffin cells of the small intestinal mucosa, where it triggers phase III of the migrating motor complex and stimulates gastric emptying, pancreatic secretion, and gallbladder contraction. The Assay Genie Rat Motilin ELISA Kit is built around this biology, providing quantitative measurement of endogenous MTL in rat-derived specimens for gastrointestinal and metabolic research programs.

The kit ships as a complete ELISA configured for 96 assays, with all required reagents provided for the full workflow. Endogenous motilin is captured from each sample and quantified against a standard curve, with absorbance readings taken on a standard plate reader. Each reagent lot is QC-checked against reference standards.
