Rat mmp 2 ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise measurement of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) levels in rat samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a colorimetric double-antibody assay validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. MMP-2, also known as gelatinase A, 72 kDa gelatinase, CLG4, or collagenase type IV-A, is a key enzyme involved in extracellular matrix remodeling and tissue repair, with dysregulation linked to diseases including cancer, arthritis, and cardiovascular disorders.

The assay delivers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL across a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity has been validated across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions for serum (92–105%, 84–100%, 85–99%), EDTA plasma (87–104%, 83–96%, 84–100%) and heparin plasma (88–98%, 94–100%, 89–95%). Spike-and-recovery values for serum averaged 96% (range 87–100%), EDTA plasma averaged 97% (range 92–103%), and heparin plasma averaged 93% (range 86–101%). All components are intended for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months.
