Rat MMP-17 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the precise measurement of matrix metalloproteinase 17 (MMP-17) levels in rat samples. MMP-17 is an enzyme involved in extracellular matrix remodeling, cell migration, and tissue repair processes, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, arthritis, and cardiovascular diseases.

The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity at the 1:2 dilution is reported as 88-105% for serum, 82-98% for EDTA plasma, and 80-95% for heparin plasma (n = 5), with corresponding average recovery values of 95%, 94%, and 96%.

The assay workflow includes reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition. Kits are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
